Is this a good statement to put in a personal dating profile?

I want to get on a dating site that I have been on before and would like to say something about past relationship. I wanted to say something like this ” Recently was in a realtionship for a year and he had even proposed marriage but since realtionship was long distance I was not ready to move there and I now feel I am ready to try this online thing again. Or if anyone knows how to say it better with some class please write it here on yahoo answers thanks anyone!

Leave past relationships out of your profile! These are matters to discuss when you get to know someone better! ;-)=
Just state that you are back on the market. Don’t talk about the fact that he proposed it will make you sound like you are looking for a ring. Just state you back and looking for something new.
